We wrote our list of aspirations at the start of the year but the year always seems to get the better of us and as a result, we've not done anything on the list. It's almost as if we are incapable of learning from our mistakes - our bad habits keep repeating themselves and we're now both caught up yet again in the simultaneous stress and idleness that this time of semester brings around.
The only thing different this time around is the festivities that have come to grace our campus. The age old sandstone is illuminated at night, revellers flock come dusk and food trucks line up, selling fast food quickly. But everything is still the same, we stress, we study and we sleep. The festivities will come and they will go and everything will be as it always was.
Expect another (even longer) hiatus. And wish us luck.

2014 and the things we might do
Jumping on the new-year-as-a-chance-for-change bandwagon and drawing up a list of things that we'd like to do by the end of the year. Of course, having incredible amounts of self-awareness means that we realise how unlikely we are to realise all of our hopes, wishes and dreams, which is why if we do even 60% (half is just flimsy), we'll be pretty fucking peachy. So here it is, things we might, hopefully, maybe do:
*Learn how to drive aka get P's
*Be able to do a headstand
*Put on a play (and invite all of our two friends to come watch it)
*Get internships or jobs. Either/or really...
*Go for a busk or two, including 'Running Away' by Delta Goodrem for reasons we should never go into
*Swap lives with someone for a day (probably each other, I mean, honestly)
*Help out someone homeless, even if in a little way (not including giving money)
*Make a very important life decision - should one arise - using a die
*Run a marathon because yes, fitness!
*Go hang out with nudists because societal norms are overrated
*Ask out a stranger because that's not a weird and creepy thing to do; it's also not something seemingly normal people do very often
*Add another two songs to our rap repertoire (currently consisting of only 'Superbass' by Nicki Minaj)
*Start an e-store
*Design a website from scratch
*Get a B-dubz
*Say yes to everything for two weeks (barring obvious abuse of said condition, no vetoes)
*Be super annoying aka 'pro-active' in a tutorial
*Ask 10 acquaintances for prolonged and organised hanging out
*Make an inter nation friend
*Answer a personal ad
*Get published, no matter how small, blogs not included
*Be a sickly sap and list ten things errrrrrrday for a month that is cause for celebration (i.e. what are you grateful for today? Go buster!)
*Create some art and sell because you know, capitalism. Also, art

Hello!
We started this blog under a different name, when we were younger and filled with different dreams, living more carelessly and through the photos that we had taken and wanted to take.
Now, we're university students from Sydney who still have a broad range of interests, but have taken on new projects and learnt new skills. Part of the freshness of our experiences to date has meant that we're more aware that nothing we do is necessarily concrete and as such, our blog should reflect that youthful volatility of ideas. So, this blog will hopefully be a big mash-up of some of our interests and experiences.
But seriously, there's a whole bunch of rubbish floating around in our heads and we have a lot of time (read: no friends, no social life, no drama), so if there's anything specific you really want to see us tackle/think about, shoot us an email or send us a tweet (or five)! Links for some sweet lovin':
